kickstarter goal met!

As of today we reached our monetary goal of 5k today on Kickstarter!  Wow. Just wow. We raised 5k in 16 days and we still have 14 days to go! Don't worry you can still pledge, we get any money we accrue during the time we allotted and we could definitely use more than what our goal was. Thank you to everyone who has pledged so far and hopefully some more pledges will come through in the next two weeks.

Production Update:
We have secured a few of our locations (Pedestrian Bridge) and on March 24th we will be holding a casting session in the Chapman Lecture Hall on the University of Tulsa campus. Hopefully we'll find our Bennet by this weekend and have our cast in place to move forward. Stay tuned, things are only going to get crazier.

new test image

Check out this new test image from my post supervisor Ryan Haines.  This is not from any footage for the film but from of the scouting footage Charles and I took at the sand dunes a few weeks ago.  It's an update from the original image used in the blog header and the kickstarter site.  I love the little subtleties in it. We'll keep refining once Charles and I finalize our color palette.

grinding away / script exerpt

Working steadily on anything and everything this week. Funding packets starting to go out, locations being scouted and finalized, meetings on test shots and casting as well.  Met with Sterlin Harjo, who has several features and shorts under his belt and has had his work screened at Sundance, about coming on board as a Production Manager during the production as well as a Creative Consultant.  Sterlin will be a huge asset of knowledge and he's very excited to be involved.  This weekend I'll continue sending out funding packets and getting feed back as well as setting up a video for the Kickstarter site. More on that soon.

In the meantime, here's an excerpt from the script for those interested and I'll be posting more in the following weeks.
