This weekend I met with some people about how to create a funding package to raise money for the film. Got some great ideas and a plan is in place with the help of Patrick Matlach, Zachary Mathews and Katy Eagleston. The biggest obstacle was coming up with a way to generate interest and get people willing to invest in the film when there won't be a financial return. We've come up with some ways that include advertising, supporting the local arts (specifically local film), charity incentives and some others. This week I'll be putting together a funding packet and getting it ready to send to business owners, art donors and anyone else I think would be interested in donating to the project.
